The Bowie-Sims Lumber Division distributes:

Lumber  and Imported Hardwoods in a variety of species, including Douglas Fir, Hem-Fir, Fir-Larch, S-P-F, Southern Pine, and Western Red Cedar,, in a complete range of grades and sizes, from boards to heavy timbers.   Imported hardwoods include Ipe lumber and decking. 

Engineered wood products including laminated and PSL, LVL, and LSL beams, i-joists, and finger-jointed material. 

Performance rated panel products including plywood, OSB, and both medium and high-density overlays.

Treated lumber and plywood including both fire-retardant and environmentally compliant preservative treatments.

Architectural & Specialty Building Materials

Doors and Millwork including interior and exterior doors and door units, as well as moldings, stair-parts and trim, for single- family and multi-family markets.

All of the company's softwood products originate in US and Canadian forests managed under Sustainable Forestry Programs that ensure the perpetual growing and harvesting of timber, while protecting wildlife, plants, air, soil and water.  In addition, the company is Rainforest Alliance - Forest Stewardship Council Chain-of-Custody Certified.

Through the Bowie-Sims Truss Division, the company designs and manufactures building components and trusses, including structural roof, floor and wall systems.  We maintain one of the top truss design staffs, and presently contract our production to affiliated plants in major metro areas.   The company is a major supplier to multi-family, single-family and light commercial construction markets across the Southwest.
